The ESG UQAM Higher School of Fashion stands out as the only French-speaking university center for teaching, research and “fashion” creation in North America. The main objective of the bachelor's program in fashion management and design at the École supérieure de mode de l'ESG UQAM is to prepare individuals to become experts capable of stimulating economic growth and promoting the development of Quebec industry fashion and clothing in national and international markets. This program also aims to offer them dual skills in management and design: - Fundamental and general training which provides a solid foundation for an evolving and versatile career in the field. - Specialized and practical training in one of the 4 major sectors of the fashion industry: - Fashion Design; - Conceptualization and development of products and services; - Fashion business management; - Aspects linked to theory, culture and semiotics in fashion Its bachelor's program in fashion management and design therefore offers future clothing professionals four distinct paths as well as an undergraduate microprogram in fashion management .
